"This book was an incredible ride from the very start... The old saying that love and hate are two sides of the same coin is shown clearly in this story. The way the Deira being dual-gendered were able to take either role in lovemaking was fascinating. Dylen's refusing to take Riodan's virginity for his protection ... showed the depths of his true feelings for Riodan." - 5 Angels by Fallen Angel Reviews
"The exceptionally well-written plot features love, political espionage, as well as social traditions that mirror historical Regency settings. The characters are especially realistic... Eressë has created a spectacular episode to the extraordinarily distinct Chronicles of Ylandre... Hallowed Bond is a captivating blend of political intrigues, social prejudice, emotional turmoil, magical powers as well as breathtaking love scenes. I recommend this excellent series to everyone who enjoys unparalleled all male romance stories." - Golden Blush Award & Recommended Read by The Literary Nymphs
"The fantasy genre has never been my favorite to read, but the way Eressë created this world is quite amazing. This story was very well written. This is the second book of this series. I had not read the first book, but I don't think it is necessary to read it to understand and enjoy this story. I never felt like I missed anything and I never felt lost like you do with some series if you haven't read the first book. Overall, I would say that those who like a good fantasy will love this book." - 4 Stars by The Romance Reviews
"The wonderful and intricate world that Eressë builds in not only fascinating; it easily becomes addictive to read about. From the first page, Hallowed Bond sucked me in this complex world and into the lives of Dylen and Riodan and didn't let up until the very end. Like the first book, Sacred Fate, Hallowed Bond was a labor of love to read. This is not an easy book to follow at times, but it's so worth it in the end. It could be read as a stand-alone book, but I do not recommend that you do so. To fully understand the world of Ylandre, it is necessary to read Sacred Fate first. This is an amazing series and I hope Eressë continues writing more about this unique and lovely people." - 5 Stars & Reviewer Top Pick by Night Owl Reviews
